Kuang Ying

Kuang Ying was born in Tainan, Taiwan in 1992. He joined the Applied Microwave Nondestructive Testing Laboratory (amntl) in summer of 2013 as an undergraduate research assistant. In May of 2015, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering along with a minor in Mathematics from Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T). Kuang is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering at Missouri S&T and working as a graduate research assistant at the amntl. His research interests include microwave and millimeter wave imaging, microwave material characterization, and surface crack detection techniques.
