Matthew J Horst is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree at the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in electromagnetics at the Applied Microwave Nondestructive Testing Laboratory (amntl). He was received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in December 2014. He is a member of the IEEE Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) Gamma Theta Chapter. He was awarded the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Engineering Undergraduate Award in 2014, and he was honored with the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship in 2015. His research interests include antenna design, real-time imaging system design, and materials evaluation.
